The ETR 100 “Frecciarossa” is a train, that lives superlatives: being one of the world's fastest trains, it reached a lunatic 400 km/h. Being in service throughout Italy, the futuristic looking ETR consists of 8 coaches and connects the Italian metropolises with speeds up to 360 km/h.

The TGV Duplex is a French high-speed train of the TGV family, manufactured by Alstom, and operated by the French national railway company SNCF. It is unique among TGV trains in that it features bi-level carriages.
The Hamburg Flyer, a train consisting of two cars – each having a driver's cab and passenger cabin – was ordered by the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft in 1932 from Waggon- und Maschinenbau AG Goerlitz (WUMAG). The train was delivered in 1932 and put into service in 1933.
